On my way to the doctor's office, we saw a small blue car on the shoulder of the freeway, with a small fire cooking in the exhaust. Thankfully the passengers were able to run to safety on the side of the road. Traffic slowed, as it usually does anytime there is another man's misfortune to jeer at. The flames went about their business, slowly working their way up towards the roof of the car. It was almost something out of a movie.
